This is how you can make an impact:
As the Market Manager Kenya you will act as the local entrepreneurial leader and collaborate closely with the Headquarter in Germany to ensure sustainable business growth in Kenya. This includes:

Sales:
  • You are responsible for your team in our established market in Kenya
  • You combine operational sales management with strategic business development, ensuring that we grow profitably today and in the future with our portfolio of generics and food supplements
  • Take ownership of the annual budget planning and tracking for your market
  • Ensure Denk Pharma products (pharmaceuticals and food supplements) are readily available and accessible in the market
  • Develop visionary and comprehensive marketing plans, drive all commercialization, marketing and promotional activities to accomplish sales plans in alignment with company goals and the Denk Regional Sales Manager in Germany
  • Ensure that marketing campaigns and product launches are successfully implemented in your market, contributing to the brand awareness of Denk Pharma
Leadership:
  • Inspire your team of e.g. Sales/Medical Representatives, Supervisors and Sales Director through clearly defined goals and strong leadership based on values to achieve continuous high performance
  • Review the effectiveness of your team measures in monthly business reviews and adjust them as necessary, always focusing on revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Act as a point of contact, link, and role model between your Kenya and the Headquarter with different departments such as Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs or Regulatory Affairs ,Quality, Supply Chain, and our regional business partners.
Partnermanagement & Networking:
  • Through monthly travels, you become well-acquainted with your market to the Headquarter in Munich to build , strengthening relationships with local teams, partners, distributors, doctors, and pharmacies, and creating new business opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain effective networks with all market stakeholders (e.g. Wholesalers, regulatory authorities, health care professionals, opinion leaders)

Business Growth:
  • Develop multi-year growth and sales strategies for your region  and implement them step by step in allignment with the Headquarter
  • Analyze, monitor, and continuously improve internal processes with your team, aiming to create Access to Healing, meet our customers' needs, and achieve greater success in Kenya
  • Challenge existing processes and develop solutions that enhance our competitiveness and our commitment to "Access to Healing"
Here´s what you should bring:
  • Proven Expertise: Minimum 10 years of demonstrated success in marketing and sales within the pharmaceutical sector
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading teams while being an inspiring personality
  • Sales & Product Launch Experience: Minimum 5 years of successful experience in sales and product launches, ideally of pharmaceutical products or food supplements in dynamic markets
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Business Acumen: Forward-thinking and commercially minded working style combined with a good degree of flexibility
  • Initiative: A drive to tackle tasks independently and efficiently and to improve outcomes through strong self-motivation
  • Go Beyond: A desire to proactively develop yourself and be part of a strong team
